1. Make sure you are setting boundaries with your clients so that you aren’t taken advantage of and overworked for not enough pay.
2. Make sure you are using contracts and make sure those contracts are SOLID!
3. Hire yourself a business coach. Especially if you are a first-generation entrepreneur learning everything for the first time. The Small Business Administration has some really great resources for small business owners and they are who I have used for the last 8+ months. Here is a link to their website: www.sba.gov
4. Make sure you have systems in place that help free up time within your day. After much research, I chose to switch my client onboarding system from Honeybook to Dubsado and never looked back. I can’t pretend to be an expert at Dubsado so I hired a really great workflow wiz who helped me get my client experience in order.
